More Than Call Recording
Scalable SBCE SIPREC Call Recording
MiaRec effectively provides a SIP Trunk-Side audio recording solution that connects the Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise (SBCE) over SIPREC. SIPREC provides a scalable recording solution for enterprises requiring conversations with external parties to be recorded for compliance or training purposes.
MiaRec’s Avaya SBCE integration enables call audio capture at the network ingress/egress point when SIP trunk facilities are used. This approach has the advantage of reducing the stress on communication system resources compared to a station-based recording.
How It Works
The MiaRec recording server is configured as a Session Recording Server (SRS) on the Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise (SBCE).
When calls pass through the SBCE to the SIP trunk, call metadata and media are forked to the recording server via SIPREC. MiaRec decodes the data and archives on local storage.
Requirements
Avaya Aura Communication Manager + Avaya SBCE v.7.1 or newer
Every recorded call additionally requires one standard and one advanced license on Avaya SBCE
