Virtual Machines Requirements For Passive Recording

This document describes the requirements for Virtual Machines when used for Passive Recording (Port Mirroring). If you are using an active recording method (like SIPREC, Cisco Built-in-Bridge, etc.), then such requirements do not apply.

MiaRec Installation on VMWare ESXi

Passive recording is supported in a virtual environment. Following virtualization products are supported:
